You might then have:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tiredness<\/li>\n<li>Fever<\/li>\n<li>Nausea<\/li>\n<li>Stomach aches<\/li>\n<li>Muscle aches<\/li>\n<li>Pain in your bones<\/li>\n<li>Marks on your skin<\/li>\n<li>Jaundice &#8211; when your skin and the whites of your eyes turn yellow<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1279_906d9e-24 .kt-block-spacer{height:60px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1279_906d9e-24 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-1279_906d9e-24\">\n<div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\">\n<hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Treatment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hepatitis B usually goes away by itself. Then you won\u2019t need any treatment.&nbsp;<br \/>But sometimes it doesn\u2019t. The virus stays in your body. That\u2019s called chronic hepatitis B. What happens then?<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can get treatment in hospital that stops the infection from doing any more damage<\/li>\n<li>People you regularly have sex with, and the people you live with, should get vaccinated. Then they cannot get infected with the STI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1279_b32769-3d .kt-block-spacer{height:60px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1279_b32769-3d .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-1279_b32769-3d\">\n<div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\">\n<hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Vaccination against hepatitis B<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><br \/><\/strong>As part of childhood vaccinations, children in Cura\u00e7ao are offered vaccination against hepatitis B. This offers lifelong protection. If you have not received the hepatitis b vaccine or would like to learn more about it, contact <a href=\"https:\/\/gobiernu.co\/soa-poli\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CSGC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also get vaccinated if you have an increased chance of getting this STI. For example:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you regularly have sex with someone who has hepatitis B<\/li>\n<li>If you are a man who has sex with other men. Anal sex increases the chance of hepatitis B<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<strong> <\/strong>Center for Sexual Health Cura\u00e7ao <a href=\"https:\/\/gobiernu.co\/soa-poli\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(CSGC)<\/a> provide this vaccine. The total cost is 90 guilders. It requires 3 doses of the vaccine over a 6-month period.
