But you can see the tunnels they burrow. Symptoms you may have are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Itching, sometimes all over your body<\/li>\n<li>The itching gets worse at night and when it&#8217;s warm<\/li>\n<li>Visible tunnels on your wrists, between your fingers, in your knee cavities, under your breasts<\/li>\n<li>Reddish-purple bumps on your penis or vagina<\/li>\n<li>Raw, red skin from scratching<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The symptoms start 2 to 6 weeks after you&#8217;ve become infected with scabies.<\/p>\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1293_a79499-6d .kt-block-spacer{height:60px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1293_a79499-6d .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-1293_a79499-6d\">\n<div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\">\n<hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Treatment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scabies can be treated with tablets or cream. You can go to your doctor for this. Always read the instructions before use and make sure you follow them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are other people who should also use the cream, even if they don&#8217;t have any symptoms:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>People you regularly have sex with<\/li>\n<li>People you share a bed or clothes with<\/li>\n<li>People you live with<\/li>\n<li>Anyone else you&#8217;ve touched for longer than 15 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It can take between 2 and 6 weeks before the symptoms disappear.<\/p>\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1293_dd9523-c1 .kt-block-spacer{height:60px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1293_dd9523-c1 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-1293_dd9523-c1\">\n<div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\">\n<hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Make sure scabies doesn&#8217;t come back<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is how to make sure you don&#8217;t get scabies again:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wash your clothes, towels and bedding well at a minimum of 60\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li>If something can&#8217;t be washed, like a quilt or a soft toy, put it in a rubbish bag for 3 days. Seal the bag well<\/li>\n<li>Air out mattresses and pillows.
